Re: completion of feasabilitry study infoInteresting HNE numbers appear to have improved slightly. Half a gram of gold per ton for a block cave, you are getting over $50 USD in gold credits Before you start in on the copper and silver. The NSR’s should end up being surprisingly robust. As time has marched on, one has to think there is value beginning to accrue to Heruga - it is a monster, again with huge gold credits. The lame duck act, woe is TRQ, has got to come to an end. At least we have booted the fake liquidity crunch and the exaggerated mine redesign crisis is over. Not so bad as we worried JS? Considering the IA was heavily negotiated, then heavily renegotiated and confirmed in the Dubai Agreememt, what exactly is preventing TRQ from drilling promising targets on the JV ground, particularly that neglected since 2003 follow-up program on the X-grid? Still too hot to handle? Ditto out West there in Shivee - two or three gold targets and suddenly it is down tools, Licence Fees Agreement, and a lot of Mongolian grumbling. Assuming RioTinto believes in the clean-energy future requirement for lots of copper in the next century, of course they will bid out the minority or bring in a partner to do so in return for a share of a mine in a different jurisdiction as a quod pro quo. So what has been the holdup? It has to be a Mongolian thing. My own working theory is they have some very promising up value geology that has not been publicized for fear of Mongolian piracy, and they can’t honestly bid out TRQ until it is better disclosed. The Mongolians, Rio, TRQ, ETG and SSL all either know or have a high degree of confidence yet the stakes are big enough they have frittered away the better part of a decade not feeling rushed while they try and negotiate an overall solution. Fingers crossed that we are talking shallow pit-mineable good to great gold grades, which means 30% to ETG and a radical revaluation even though HNE, Heruga an the Shivee West prospects alone are already heavily discounted with lots of upside. Craziest darn exploration and development play where a key landholder (ETG) has seen virtually nothing since some initial speculative excitement. People seem to forget OT continues to be a substantial exploration play if it was in any other jurisdiction. Mongolians might come to the table now. With another consolidation of power they want cashflow like a vampire wants blood, so swap out that dumb idea of being an equity partner with zero capital contribution for a nice NSR that will start spitting out revenue immediately, and keep giving and growing for decades ahead. And I don’t give a flying figet spinner whether it happens now or later, I am so aggrieved by the idiocy of sixteen years of negotiations I’m gonna put my shares in a trust that can’t be sold until we see some major revaluation even if I am long gone. FMCDH and several years thereafter if that’s what it takes. Never give in. Never. cg |
