Re: Canadian COVID Care Alliance’s ‘Scientific Guide’ for COVID-19 Vaccination Merits Review, Discussion & Debate
I agree with you that the doctors who use their expertise in the way that you describe are worthy of our applause. Diseases like TB, the plague, smallpox, polio would still be devastating populations without the use of antibiotics or vaccines that were developed by researchers.
There are two differences between then and now though. First, the severity of the diseases are vastly different. None of those past diseases had a survivability of over 99% as Covid does, so the urgency of the problem is on a different scale.
Second, medical experts today have been politicized to an extent unlike anything I've ever seen. The new mRNA vaccines are very clever and worthy of praise, but any medical expert who dares to raise legitimate questions about their problems is demonized and even canceled. They don't want to know or hear about it. The same occurs to medical experts who propose extremely successful treatments for Covid that don't make a lot of money for Big Pharma.
That's what has been most disappointing for me to see.
