Re: Laurentian Bank Looks Like an Interesting Opportunity

I was down on Corsa hundreds of thousands at one point. Making it back and more was not easy nor was I lucky. Contrary to your belief, I don't have a big ego in markets. I was just saying that I remember UTR making a similarly comical statement about Corsa before those like me went on to make (small) fortunes on that name.

RE: LB, I still haven't bothered doing a deep dive analysis, but I wager, without any skin in the game, the share price is meaningfully higher six months from now.

Of course some ratios are going to look poor when the shares are valued at a fraction of book value. I'm guessing it's all priced in and more. Rarely would you find a bank of LB's calibre as beaten down as it currently is. They are going to survive. Nothing much changed from earlier in 2023 when shares nearly hit $50. Just sentiment and the lack of a buyer.
