The author of 1899 opus The Theory Of The Leisure Class, Veblen railed about the motives underlying conspicuous consumption. He explained that in affluent societies the economic struggle "is substantially a race for reputability on the basis of....invidious comparison".
It still is and you too can be the beneficiary of invidious comparison when you flaunt your holdings in PBIO. Ming believes such will be the case when in the very very near future PBIO's fortunes will escalate which will be replicated in its share price.
PBIO shareholder Ming will then see all doors opened to him (although don't expect a tip for doing so) as the crowned heads of Europe offer their daughters for his hand in marriage despite his execrable table manners. This will be of no matter as his position in PBIO will win the day as it will for all other lucky PBIO shareholders. Just no more than a modicum of patience is still yet required in Ming's august opinion.
