  Note: 4 ridings in Ontario = 1 riding in Alberta ( Edmonton)...tell us again how this works?
  
  Hardly a representative government--it is just a joke...
 how do 158 seats materialize out of that distribution? 
 
 
look at the red parts--those are liberal---remind you of anything?
 
 
the frozen north with minimal population, Labrador ---a world of rocks,  Newfoundland--the big ROCK ( has fishing), Gaspe peninsula and a few fringe ( highly populated areas in the east....Quebec of course and more wild lands on the northern border of Ontario...which used to have great industry ( pulp and paper and logging and timber)...
 
 
this could happen to the US--heaven forbid. BUT no the US has the electoral college as a buffer....good thing!
