Boyle is my kind of biotech CEO - balls to the wall ! He had finite resources and decided to go for it. Accepting an offer for a couple of bucks wouldn’t have provided enough funds to change our situation. Now, we may end up with a partner who can exploit our potential, not a VC who would only have making bucks, even if the shareholders got screwed.
