Geothermal power in Saskatchewan
Great results from the first few wells, all drilled using standard oil patch techniques. Some of the technology is similar to that of Eavor (msgs 1269 and 1608):
It is early days but this has huge potential in the very places where it is going to be toughest to transition away from oil and gas. Schlumberger, a big oilpatch services company, owns GeothermEx, the sector leader in tooling for geothermal power production.
