Management's Gordian Knot (musings on a Rainy Night in Georgia)well...really Tennessee! Our Management Smart Management: All have significant achievements in non-Pharma entities. True believers: All have Millions of shares & PRH Loans Ethical/honorable Reputations: and the SEC loved Dom's work in flushing out the commode that was once PVCT. Our drug: Safe: Over 400 patients given PV-10 with no serious side affects (other than changing skin color to permanently red! LOL!) Effective on wide range of indications (low N by FDA standards, but high enough to interest BP) Actually, the drug is seen by Management as way better than previously thought ! The Problem: Different than what we think ??? What if Mgt's prob is NOT lack of BP interest in buying PVCT, but a huge difference in perceived worth. For example; Mgt, knowing PV/H-10 immense potential sees the company as easily worth $20 per share (and maybe even $50/Sh)! BP, seeing the drug as having potential but still an unproven risk, sees value (factoring in risk of the 'unknown') as say, $3 to $4/Sh. BP loves the drug(s) but and assesses it's value as way less than PRH values it! Management Conundum: Mgt refuses to sell at the low ball price, and BP refuses to budge, and worst of all...BP sees PVCT with few (aka "NO') options. Mgt's only option to get more N in the '4 Quadrants!' This requires $ and time! Mgt sees 5¢/Sh as a non issue, because it knows of higher existing (but unacceptable) offers! Both $ (and really the 'N') is hard (aka 'slow') to materialize), and many Shareholders are borderline crazy with endless delays! (And the 'Crazy Meter' is shooting up fast) What does Mgt do?? Well, they do what they've been doing: Keep communications to minimum, try to raise $, and figure ways to get N up! (Not easy, and not fast!)! Management can't explain the low ball offer to Shareholders (because it's an informal offer, and SEC rules won't permit disclosure of an undocumented offer). So here we sit on an unsalable Golden Egg! And we'll stay here until Mgt figures how to cut this Gordian Knot! PS...Haters need not respond! |
