I expect that the cost of the wells has been underestimated here? However it may be possible to drill wells here for US$5-6 million per well on a program basis. In 2020/2021 Kris Energy was spending an average of US$4 million per well for their six well program. But costs have gone up since then. So that is why I have increased the per well cost.
So it needs to be kept in mind when counting the number of planned wells. 5 Wells would cost ~ US$25-30 million. Ten wells closer to US$50-60 million.
Regarding Tax Losses (Kris Energy) - remember those are divided between Thailand and Cambodia! So they are not all available to Valeura.
