Re: RECO PresentationI would be ashamed to put out a presentation so full of twaddle and so lacking in any substance. It's not like they don't have the petrophysical data. It's not even as if they haven't published that data? (For the 6-2 well) Even if published at a scale that requires using a microscope to tease out the fine details that prove they have nothing. (The petrophysics is "hard data" and yet they do not talk about it? (Mud logging is technically "soft" data - but actually here - it is absolutely bullet proof hard data!) The only thing I learned from this waffle fest was Scott letting slip, for perhaps the first time, that well 6-1 (the second well of the first drill program) was really depressing - even to this collective of "optimists. (As if the first one wasn't too?) All the arm waving over the Demarara structure is talking nonsense about rocks that are in essence complete economic basement. (The Mulden and Otavi late proterozoic carbonates, evaporites and marls.) The National Geographic types really have it easy here - the project kills itself - the only question is whether any serious and enduring residual "happiness" gets left behind in the Kalahari and Kavango? Or does it just go to Windhoek and the Caymans? GS |
