Looking for a higher open in light trading-6/23/21DOW Futures are currently looking for an opening gain of 67.42 points; SP 500 Futures a gain of 3.56 points and NAS COMP Futures a gain of 17.58 points. The FTSE is up 0.18%; while the DAX is off 0.45%; the CAC -0.50% and the STOXX600 -0.28%. The HSI is gaining 1.79%; while the Shanghai is plus 0.25%; the Kospi +0.38% and the Nikkei is down 0.03%. WTI, Brent and Natural Gas are all higher. IWM is gaining 0.09 to 228.00; QQQ is up 0.30 to 347.89; SPY is plus 0.32 to 423.43 and the VXX is off 0.25 to 30.63. Palladium is gaining 1.02% and all of the other Major Metals are also higher. Bitcoin and Ethereum are both gaining over 4% as they continue their bounces of yesterday. The 2 Year Treasury Note is now yielding 0.25%; the 5 Year has a yield of 0.86%; the 10 Year's yield is at 1.47% and the 30 Year Bond is now at a yield of 2.10%. Notable companies reporting before today's open, with earnings consensus, include IHS Markit (INFO), consensus 80c and Winnebago (WGO), consensus $1.77. Notable company that reported after yesterday's market close, with earnings consensus, was Patterson Companies (PDCO), consensus 52c. PDCO up 0.88 to 36.00, but on only 800 shares. My Watch Lists are clearly containing more Green than Red, but again on light volume. Summer is definitely here. GSAT is the volume leader but is only up 0.04 to 1.90 on those 1,363,400 shares. SEAC is in 2nd place on volume (1,160,000) and 1st in % gainer as it is up 0.25 to 1.30. Neither are stocks I would trade, due to being penny stocks. Movers on My Watch lists include BIIB up 5.60; COIN +2.02; CRWD +1.39; NVDA +1.53; NVAX +3.51; TSLA +3.29 and XPEV +2.15. NIO, LI, TSLA and XPEV might be stocks to watch today, possibly along with SPCE, WISH and AMC. Good luck |
