Please explain your math...because I'm getting.
39K shares @ $140/share = $5.46M
36K shares @ $65.50/share = $2.55M (which goes to the company as assets) (assuming all 39K shares have an issue price average of $65.50)
= approx. $2.91M for 77 employees or approx. $37.8K per new employee hired.
(This doesn't necessarily take into account some of the value as an option...but I don't see this QUITE as unreasonable as you seem to indicate...but yes, its still a decent amount.)
PLUS THAT ASSUMES all employees stay the entire 5 vesting period AND the stock price doubles.
