EV Problem

One of the major CO2 problems with CO2 footprint of EVs is the battery weighting 1,000 pounds is the amount of mining needed to produce all the material. According to Mark Mills 500,000 pounds of rocks need to be mined and processed. This process produces large amounts of CO2.

According to studies by VW and Volvo an EV car may have to be driven between 60,000'to 100,000'before there is a net CO2 savings.
