Not referencing this board, but I yearn for the old days when people would have differences of opinions and engage in lively debates. Now, instead of debate, there is usually bashing, censure, or even termination of employments or friendships. 

 

I enjoy learning about different perspectives as that is how I educate myself and form my own opinions. My favorite threads are when posters engage in debates on energy topics.  

 

I don't see the world returning to normal anytime soon, so I take solace in the fact that Doom has created a little oasis in the form of our energy board.
