The end game, for the moment, in the Ukraine/Russian conflict is at hand.

 

 The stark reality is that the Ukraine army in the east is set to be annihilated.  There is no other outcome in the feasible choice set. 

 

It looks to me like the break with Russian energy is the norm for the EU over the next 5 years. 

 

The EU really has 2 choices for dispatchable energy given they closed off coal. They can increase domestic nat gas production or they can compete for limited LNG cargoes.  

 

The EU will realize several things in the coming years. First, the northern hemisphere faces decades of slow cooling.  Second, their headlong leap into weather-dependent energy crushed economic competitiveness and real wages for the majority. 

 

I hope it is clear to everyone that those pushing the climate crisis hoax are the same people that have pushed: 1) the Trump Russian collusion hoax, 2) the Hunter Biden laptop is a Russian disinformation hoax, 3) the mRNA vaccines are safe and effective, 4) Ivermectin doesn't work hoax,  etc. 

 

The wake-up call on energy is going to be brutal.
