How they just massacre these oil stocks periodically.  They really seem to slobbernocker them especially if they have a terrific report.  PXD no matter how much dividend they give they give it a shellacking  after a good report and a great dividend.  You can now add CVX to that list.  I bought a bunch yesterday lost a bunch.  Lost more today when it opened up, sold a bunch premarket. Sold more after the market opened, and sold the rest around 10 am.  

 

Still took a beating on it but not as bad as if I had held it to the close.  The dam thing closed around 174.  Down about 13 points from where it closed yesterday.
