Well of course that has been an unmitigated disaster.

 

Every time NG pops up for half a day or so, I seriously consider selling and going short, for the seemingly inevitable trip down, intending to rebuy at the bottom.

 

So far, I have done nothing of the sort. I always psyche myself out thinking, this could easily be the overnight when the forecasts turn cold, or the overnight when some bullish announcement comes out about Freeport LNG before markets open.

 

Anyway, things are not so good right now, but maybe there will be a relief rally soon.

 

I am currently down 56% since December 31, 2022. I'm down 70% from my high-water mark of November 1, 2022.

 

My account is actually back down to the level it was on January 27, 2022 (after subtracting the recent cash injections), so I've wiped-out an entire twelve months of trading gains.

 

On the bright side, if you consider two-year-to date, I'm up 38 % (same as I was this time last year), so that's still not bad 13-month performance.

 

Maybe one of these bounces I'll be smart enough to take the under. Or more likely, of course, that will be the time the rally keeps going. (ha, ha).
