Since there was more than one 'explosion', how does that fit with the hydrate theory?
 
One good thing - once someone gets good photos of the damage, it should be relatively easy to determine if an explosion was internal or external based on the blast damage. I.e., part of the pipeline will be bent outwards if the explosion were from within. If it were from externally placed explosives or underwater mine or bomb, the damage should indicate this.
 
The problem - no one seems to be talking very much about what has been found.
