OT: Economic question: Unemployment or Inflation?https://twitter.com/LHSummers/status/1572696928336461825 Larry Summers: Happy to bet anyone that we see 6 months of unemployment above 5 before we see 6 months of inflation below 2.5. I actually agree that we are going to see unemployment above 5% before we see inflation below 2.5. What impact will it have on oil prices? It's hard to see the market happy about oil prices increasing into a recession. But the supply situation is horrid. I just cant see the economy expanding without oil above $100. |
