Re: The reason you can't have a bigger dividend at CVE is because they keep buying things like this

John47 is dead right about this...Understand what's happening...

I know of 4 similar cases...The BIG guys are shedding/giving away
asset's...dirty fossil fuel assets...so they fly around in their
private jets and hob-nob on the cocktail circuit with the elites/WEF/Davos
crowd...and be woke and greener than thou...

Shell 'gave' a refinery to Vertex...VTNR...I bought at $4.30 in Dec '21...
Schwab says VTNR is looking at profits of $4.50 over the next year...

Equinor (sp)...'gave' a big part of Corrib...NG offshore Ireland to VET...
I believe it will pay for itself before the deal is settled...

Both VTNR and VET report this week...make up your own mind...if they got a bargain...

I believe XOM 'gave' their Torrance Calif. refinery to PBF...no interest...
California refinery...

And now BP hands a 'gift' to CVE...

That's got to be dozens of others out there...money to be made as investors
depending on your version/vision for the future of oil...has to be a lot more
similar deals in the works between now and the end of the year...

One version of dirty oil...without the Canadian heavy crude...and the CVE's refineries from Borger around to Toledo and Lima providing the diesel that powers the Deere's and the combines and grain haulers from Texas around to Ohio...millions around the world would go hungry and/or starve...

good luck all...
