I've heard more from him in the past (a link was posted here to a podcast that was outstanding).
Here's a tweet that is worth noting if you are worried about some of the posts related to selling oil and gas stocks.
Just remember all bull markets move by fits and starts. The value of these companies is not even close to historical levels given their fundamentals right now. I will sell very little until I see panic buying and I have seen absolutely no panic buying at all. In fact I see very timid buying in these names. Timid as in oil goes up by 2% and oil stocks go up by less than 1%. That is a market that still does not believe. I'm holding strong to my energy stocks.
My favorite area right now is the Alberta Montney. They economics are outstanding. Alberta has a provincial leader, Jason Kenney, who is very focused on creating a good climate for oil companies (very unlike BC in that regard). BC has some great lands and some amazing opportunities but the political climate makes for more risk. I've sold most of my TOU as a result. I still hold Storm as it's stupid cheap but have reallocated a lot of my funds towards Spartan Delta SDE and Pipestone and my key holding of Cenovus has been slightly reduced but remains.
