Re: Question for group...on diversification into BTC etc
I know a lot about it, having done very well in the 2017 craze and getting out right at the top. I can certainly help with how to move things around, whether that's advisable or not.
While I do think there's a crypto future to money, I absolutely don't believe it will be bitcoin. It has far too many problems, that were solvable, but the very centralized number of players went for profits over function, which will eventually be the downfall. The truly decentralized currency like option seems to be bitcoin cash. Also not without problems, but more readily fixable.
Very likely nation state crypto is coming, China has one. A gold-like non-national option could be used in combination, which could be bitcoin, but I doubt it. The ultimate goal would be that national currencies not exist, and let various currencies compete in the free market, but that seems unlikely countries will give up that power.
Most people investing in the space don't understand how money truly works and also are just trying to make a quick buck.
