Re: Beaufort Gyre. Correlation with the sunspots cycle?

I suppose some people must have studied possible correlations between this Beaufort Gyre and the sunspots periodicity. Have you heard of anything such investigation?
On those sunspots, we are close to 900 spotless days during the transition cycles 24-25.
The highest number in more than 100 years. And possibly indicative of a very weak cycle 25 which could lead to more very cold events in the future if we give credit to the theory correlating sunspots numbers and earth climate. Which I do.
