Got notice via e-mail that ARLPs K-1 is ready, so I downlaoded it onto my computer. I don't ever print them out (I used to) but with the high cost of home printing I go ahead and use the pdf version to enter my data then just wait the next couple days for the paper copy from the tax support folks, and keep those with my files. I never send them to the IRS.
One item worth noting on the K-1 is that ARLP usually has positive UBTI and this year was no exception, equivalent to 0.72/unit. May not sound like much, but if you had more than 1400 units (about $56,000 worth) in an IRA, any amount over the 1400 units would trigger a UBTI tax.
