Re: Top 5: Best (or most memorable) Meals/Snacks You Ever Had

Three of my favorite restaurants that have consistently delivered the finest meals:
Face - Bangkok, Thailand
Magical atmosphere. Incredible food, service and surroundings. Half the restaurant (main building) is Indian cuisine. The other half (traditional Thai long house) is Thai cuisine. The property is probably about an acre with lush surroundings, ponds, and authentic Thai architecture. A peaceful oasis in the middle of the frantic, electric, exotic city of Bangkok.
Mama's Fish House - Paia, Maui Hawaii
One of the finest restaurants in the U.S. Amazing seafood, impeccable service, mind blowing desserts, mind numbing drinks. If you like Mai Tais and the tropical ambiance that is so uniquely Hawaiian, you won't be disappointed. It's a favorite among Hollywood stars/starlets, movers/shakers and common folks like me!
St. Elmos Steakhouse - Indianapolis
A historic landmark that consistently delivers some of the best steaks and chops I've ever had. The shrimp cocktail is unworldly, with fresh horseradish sooo hot it makes my scalp tingle just thinking about it. The "shrimp" are the size of small lobsters. The vibe is best described as vintage, authentic and moody as you'd expect from an establishment that has been in business at that same location for 113 years. From their website " Through much of its history, St Elmo was considered a dining bastion for men. It was, and still is a place where salesmen and tycoons came to seal the deal, where attorneys and politicians strategized and plotted, where coaches and players celebrated wins and lamented losses, where celebrities came to unwind from a show". Sums it up perfectly! (and women are welcome now too)
