Re: Foreign Tax CreditI'm just guessing but from the numbers you posted it appears as though you got dividends from ZIM. I had similar results, getting back about 20% of what I expected. One thing to keep in mind for this year (next years' tax return) is if you don't have ANY foreign income then you won't get any of the carryback until you do. The Foreign Tax Credit is very misunderstood and also very unfair, IMHO. |
