The one point Mr. Kramer failed to articulate is most frackers HAVE to keep pumping to service debt loads. Shutting off the wells only hastens their demise. Thjs is akin to burning furniture in the winter to stay way--far from a long term strategy but RATIONAL in the short term. Super-majors are a wholly different story. Many of the offshore projects take 5 plus years to bring in so I doubt those in progress will be halted.
Interesting move by Buffer in natural gas. At his age I'm not sure he'll see the fruits of a very shrewd purchase. Buffets problem is how to deploy that immense $$$$ hoard. His performance has been horrific but near zero % rates will do that to folks sitting on cash.
