Re: Oiljack Loading the Truck with GTE Shares?

Coastal was my largest holding and I did very well with it.  I've been in GTE since the Solana days and been sorely disappointed with Guidry.  It used to be a clean company with no debt,  100% light oil production and exploration upside.  Now it's a leveraged development story that begs for higher oil prices.  Too cheap to sell here but I am not adding either.

My largest E&P holding now is SDX Energy.  Debt free, with obscenely high  margin $10  fixed price gas contracts in Morocco and a long delayed gas field finally coming on stream this quarter in Egypt.  Gas prices in Egypt are fixed at $2.85  but now that the infrastructure is in place any new discoveries will be very economic.  Exploration drilling is back on in Morocco and they are scheduled to drill 2 or 3 gas prospects in Egypt next year.  Very low valuation at US $60 million with the ability to generate substantial FCF by 2021.   Use or flush as OJ used to say....
