I put used fishing nets over my chicken yard to keep the red tailed hawks from nabbing my chickens.  I don’t want to shoot hawks, they catch mice and rats and varmints, plus I love watching them soar.  A couple weeks ago a bald Eagle showed up!  On a nice day I love to sit out in the pasture in my Adirondack chair drinking beer and watching nature go by……..Beats television!  Sometimes the horses come over to see what’s going on….sometimes the Jack Russells  jump a rabbit or squirrel…….If the sun gets too hot I move 10 ft. over to my other chair in the shade under a tree!  Life is good!  Nice day today, time to work in the garden……
