Market reaction to Trump indictment

There doesn't seem to be one? I guess it was a foregone conclusion that it would happen? Or the markets simply don't care about him, or his rantings, any longer, as it is pretty clear his influence is rapidly evaporating.

It is becoming a good possibility that we may have to deal with a Biden presidency for another term, if he lives that long, and the effects that will have on our investments. Now we know he can't sell much more oil out of the SPR, but no doubt there will be other surprises that we just can't think of right now.

I can't see US oil and gas production to keep increasing substantially going forward, so in time, demand should firmly overtake supply which should provide profitable pricing for our producers. So now, with those stocks beaten down for no known reason, it may be a time to buy/add to one's favorites.

We do live interesting times.
