I remember years ago, maybe 5 years, that Wells Fargo put out a large diagram trying to capture all the various companies playing in the cancer area. I dug out an old image I had on my laptop. As you can see even back then there were way more companies for analysts and investors to keep track of then could reasonably be expected to do so.
So my point is that with any company announcing partial responses on a very low N value, we can't expect a rush of new money to be a given. Maybe it would cause some of us 'early' folks (lol, can we still call ourselves 'early' if we've been in for 7 years?) both big (Barton, Dell) and small (small fry like me) to buy more. But will it come on the radar of people who are not yet invested to go "Wow, with 3 patients showing partial or better responses, it is time to load the truck with stock." I'm not banking on that, so tempering share price expectations for now. And if a Big pharma did take interest, it would probably result in a lowball offer, maybe $1 billion of their pocket change. Since I'm not doing as much options-wise as I was a few years ago, I guess I have more patience.
