Re: And now we get to watch MRNA and PFE get the spotlight again today (edited)This is the backhand slam after the compliment... I know this isn't related to the story riverwalk posted that I'm replying to (actually editing it as i type this as I realized the difference, so I changed the headline too) Remember several weeks ago when NVAX's date was announced... and within a day or two it was announced that there would be some sort of review of MRNA and/or PFE's latest advances in their mRNA vaccines? (Here's the link: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2022/04/29/covid-vaccines-youngest-kids-reviewed-fda-june/9585535002/) I think I made the statement then that NVAX would get it's one day in the sun and then it would be back to business as normal keeping the mRNA vaccines on the front burner. That starts today with the 'youngest kids' review for MRNA and PFE, assuming that these dates remained intact Well.. the only caveat now is how long it takes for the FDA to actually provide the approval based on the 21-0-1 vote. Will the FDA do it within a day or two or 3 like they did with the mRNA vaccines or will they wait and drag it out based on the various manufacturing questions that still seem to be the FDA's excuse for not moving forward as expeditiously as other countries did. The more things change, the more they stay the same... especially Stan with Meg T last night.. Yeah, he was bubbly and energized, but a sweater over an open collar shirt... COME ON STAN... Let's actually look like a CEO for once, especially on the biggest day in company history! I have no idea what the stock price will do... but if I was making bets based on historical examples, I would predict that there would be a spike and a selloff between today and whenever the FDA actually decides to give the approval.. Because that's what the big guys in the sand box like to do... Just my thoughts folks... I don't hold any shares now but I may be tempted to buy a few handfuls (seriously, probably less than 50 shares) if it dips back below the $48-50 range. Now let's get that darn approval so I can go out and get my NVAX vax! |
