Meanwhile, invoking the ancient Roman God , JanusHuh? The Roman God Janus was pictured as two-headed, with one head looking to the past and one head looking to the future. (That name became the source of inspiration of for the 1st month of every year) As far as I am concerned, any good TA geek has to be able to present both sides of the picture. So far, my current posts to this MB have looked to the future, with its progressively positive implications. But, if I am going to yack out loud, I had better address issues that have made themselves known in CRMD in particular and the Biotech world in general. First , and absolutely foremost , is CRMD's serial capacity for price spiking, which I have been pounding the podium (ala Nikita Krushchev) about for years now. Then post-spike, the PPS gets crushed. But, Professional players know full-well that this characteristic is not limited to CRMD. Say some relatively small bio announces big-time news like a drug's final acceptance by the FDA. Price spike, then rip the rug out. Why ? Is the infrastructure already in place to get this drug ( or device) out into the marketplace? How long will it take? What are the anticipated gross revenue sales- 1st qtr, 2nd qtr? Will sales be growing Q over Q? And by how much? Will the bio company need to find more money to put this infrastructure in place ? A high percentage of small bios are not equipped for immediate post-FDA-party success? The Pros know this! And their response to an FDA nod? Short the underlying. So, here's a Berkstump Poll - - How many of you out there think that CRMD will avoid yet another nasty crewcut within days, or even hours of 'great News ? - How many of you think the CRMD Management will not call for a new stock offering the very day after this potentially 'great News' is released? - How many of you think that Lucy will not yank the football off the Tee as Charlie Brown makes another attempt at glory? Yes, Virginia, my posted "Burst" charts have alluded to both the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly for years now. Now back to your regular channel. |
