Alphabet Inc (GOOG):
Australia's federal court found Alphabet's Google misled some consumers about personal location data collected through Android mobile devices, the country's competition regulator said
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said it is seeking declarations and penalties from Google, though it did not specify an amount
Citigroup Inc (C):
The company will hire 300 new relationship managers in Hong Kong and plans to triple client numbers and double assets under management in its wealth management business in the Asian financial hub, it said
Separately, National Australia Bank declined to rule out buying the local consumer finance and credit card operations of Citigroup, which unveiled plans to exit some businesses in Asia and Europe overnight
Enbridge Inc (ENB):
Canadian lawmakers urged the leaders of the United States and Canada to take further steps to resolve a dispute between Enbridge and the state of Michigan over the cross-border Line 5 oil pipeline
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has ordered Calgary-based Enbridge to shut down a 4-mile (6.44 km) section of the 540,000 barrel-per-day pipeline that runs underneath the Straits of Mackinac in the Great Lakes by May 12, because of concerns it could leak
Enbridge is challenging Whitmer's order in U.S. courts
Tesla Inc (TSLA):
The company has settled a lawsuit against a former employee who copied the source code of the electric vehicle (EV) maker's Autopilot technology, according to a U.S. district court filing dated April 15
Tesla filed the lawsuit in 2019, saying its employee Cao Guangzhi, who worked at Tesla for two years, copied the source code before joining XMotors in January 2019, the U.S. unit of Chinese self-driving car startup Xpeng
Terms of the settlement, which included a monetary payment made by Cao to Tesla, were not disclosed
Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment
