I had posted earlier that there are 300 million naked shorts outstanding with only 155 million actual DNDN shares. Am I wrong? Are there more? I really don't believe that many of the naked shorts in the last ten years have actually covered. Look at a ten year chart, from $55 to 4 cents. Hence, the estimate of 300 million shorts. Dendreon has a strong outlook according to management with $120 million in cash. A short covering rally would put a lot of hedge funds filing involuntary bankruptcy. Somebody has to notice this. A fine company with an important life saving, FDA approved product is being destroyed by the shorts who have taken over. That's the only reason they sold Provenge to Valeant. The integrity of the financial markets is at stake, and no one cares.
