Re: Rotten To The CoreMing, Just an add on... Every now and then I try to look at the other side of the coin. It gives me perspective, patience and maybe hope. I, like most others, own Apple shares (directly and/or indirectly) in addition to Virnetx shares. As an Apple shareholder, I expect them to leverage, delay, stall, modify, outspend, outwit, outlast any kind of litigation. Forgetting for just a moment if they are in the right or not. Doesn't matter. They are the 900lb gorilla. The point is that Apple is playing their hand just as they were expected to in this marathon. Why be surprised or get upset about this? The other point, as Ming made well, is that the next chapter of the never ending hand gets played out in January. It's about what is owed, not if something is owed. It's also about past damages and all damages after those damages. Sure Apple's best chance is to attempt to mitigte the definition of what is actually owed. Sure there are motions and appeals and more appeals....and more appeals....and IPRs and patent rejections and patent re applications...ad nauseum.... Waiting for Godot had a swifter resolution. It lasted only two acts. I just want to thank Ming for helping me keep my sense of humor. |
