Ming's Joie de Vivre es MortJust as in Eugene O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh, we all await Hickey's arrival in the form of the CAFC opinion. The wait has now reduced poor Ming to the point that he cannot even enjoy life's simple pleasures. No longer can stealing candy from a baby bring a smile to his lips. No longer can seeing the crestfallen look on some moppet's face when he tells them there is no Santa Claus brighten his day. Worst of all, he can no longer even manage a giggle while pushing some wheelchair bound soul down a flight of stairs as he emulates his hero, Tommy Udo from the 1947 film noir, Kiss of Death. Only when VHC is vindicated will Ming once again savor the joie de vivre that comes from the pleasures of schadenfreude. Right now Ming is down and out He's feeling pretty crappy But when the shorts finally get theirs It will make him very happy. |
