With all due respect, tearing down another man's report / opinion (which is totally fair game) and broadcasting that the analyst is an amateur has minimal benefit on a MB populated by-and-large by a whole bunch of amateurs.

I am not telling anyone what to do, but I believe a more constructive approach for an SME's would be to improve on the work that another has created. To poke holes to discredit the analyst is simply negative.

Just another useless opinion, but if one is an SME and bored to comment where somebody else is wrong, they may as well go the extra mile to correct the piece, re-send it to Gilford Securities and include a proposal for technical copywriter services. Tell the prospect what your expertise is, how you can create value, and name whatever price you think your time is worth.

One could go on to explain that an organization that issues inaccuracies such as Mr. Tango's recent work is a poor reflection on his foundational knowledge in areas he professes to be informed and, in addition it is a reflection on the quality of the organization as a whole.

I appreciate how your expertise enables you to deliver a good reaming now and again. However, you may as well parlay that knowledge into something positive and potentially very rewarding.

You're smart. You write beautifully. You know what you're talking about. Why limit your talent(s) to beat downs? I (for one) would like to see that piece written to perfection to maximize its effectiveness and value.
