Re: Is a patent a public right or private right?/retiariusCan you please provide some patent numbers with Mark Lemley as inventor? My search at USPTO and Google fails with 0 hits including variations like M. Lemley, M. A. Lemley etc. Lemley is a rare name so there are only 44 hits with plain Lemley, none of them him. Also checked Lemley as assignee. I also tried the Google system with similar results, and also a trademark search as well just for fun. Of note, USPTO inventor search goes only back to 1976, allowing only patent number search back to 1790. Yet if any Mark Lemley patent was pre-1976 he would have been nine years old or less. |
