Nah. Didn't like the article so much.
It seemed like the writer only knew about Sanyo and A123, the implication being the first of the American Li-ion battery manufactureres is $750 million away from production.
I also didn't like the full negative view of the impact on the grid of electric vehicles. The writer evidently hasn't yet considered the impact of off peak charging.
Maybe if I were Ford's electric czar I'd be posturing with all the negatives about electrification, too, as I rushed to get my models in the showrooms ASAP.
