killerbee A few thoughts for today. I was under the assumption your career was in finance or accounting. I have not met too many finance people or accountants that have delved deeply into the topic of petroleum systems. Is my assumption wrong?
I know two men known as Robert Mitchum. The first is a geologist who when he worked for Exxon in the 1970s, in association with Peter Vail, formalized the concepts of sequence stratigraphy. The other Robert Mitchum was the actor but he has been dead for quite a few years now. Possibly the first Mitchum may have interest in petroleum systems, I doubt the second had any interest.
Once again I did not have any insider information. In fact I purchased shares in the old HDY long before Mr. Leonard was hired as CEO. I gleaned all the information I needed to know concerning the Sabu prospect from HDY presentations, all data publically available, and concluded the Sabu Prospect was a high risk opportunity. Most of the selling of shares was prior to the drilling which is why I sold for a much higher price than post-drilling of Sabu #1.
There are no grounds for investigating insider trading on my part because there was none, do you now understand?
