Re: Further (Official) Confirmation of the MOU - - - Guineenews (More articles and info) More Guinea News: *keep in mind these are AI screenshots below, and AI has been the source of both un-publicized news, but also news with inaccuracies in material facts, as well as occasional misinterpretations due to French to English translation. Interested parties are coming to ROG onshore. This is a good sign for Ray and others watching. Maybe Total is in the mix as a French major. BHP Billiton is in need of diversifying their international offshore portfolio with most eggs in the Trinidad basket. Maybe Fatala could be the gateway into the worlds largest deposit of iron ore for BHP, if Rio gets more pressure from ROG (per article below). I personally think the majors and biggest independents would need a timeline adjustment to join the party, those big ships turn relatively slow. I don't think our man Conde would be getting traction for AU Chairman if ROG was in political turmoil. This is a good indicator of progress and stability, which is a major factor in foreign capital investment. ROG has come a long way since 2009. Below link is further indication that ROG leaders are pressing for commercial development of natural resources ASAP. Although iron ore and oil are both depressed, the consensus is that oil is due to recover more quickly having more "artificial" variables in the short term -> (OPEC cartel influence and more speculative futures trading exaggerating global supply/demand fundamentals price action in both directions) JMHO |
