Local headline today says Ohio rainy day fund has $489 million in it and when Gov Kasich took office it had 89 cents. Not to be political, but Ohio was a state in as bad a shape as any of the rust belt, maybe only surpassed by CA nationally. It goes to show that aggressive, "can do" political leadership can work wonders.
