Re: BioCentury Article on NeoantigensCan anyone recommend any article or paper which explains why traditional cancer vaccines failed? How many you want? It's not so much that they failed but that they weren't tried despite millennia of use. Even in the U.S. Parke-Davis was selling Coley's cocktails, a brew of toxic bacteria, as late as the 1950's before ending that barbarism in favor of the surgeon's scalpel, poison and burning with x-rays. I have had a skin lesion "burned off" with liquid nitrogen, which is - no fun. Dr. Yvonne Paterson sat as a wallflower at UPenn for over 20 years trying to get someone - anyone - to try to get her Listeria adjuvant to market that we now know is very successful - well Meirsheim doesn't but he will come around : - and then every CEO has been vigorously attacked by the medical cliques and scandal mongers and subsequent .shareholders in turn despite great progress from each. Much solid medical technology is not utilized because of superstition, fear of sin, whatever as we are beginning to understand with banned drugs that interfere with alcohol and tobacco sales. Alcohol itself has medical use and tobacco may though both are much more harmful than most illicit drugs. Let me ask you what is wrong with perfectly safe, non drug, pain-free dentristry? There are a handful of dentists that use hypnotism but it's just too creepy or something. Far beyond that, a young boy in a hospital in San Francisco needed a skin graft on an arm and could use tissue from a leg but a cast needed to firmly immobilize a union between arm and leg for a couple weeks would be enormously painful and he would have to be heavily sedated.... The boy was hypnotized to immobilize the union. He remained fully conscious and pain free during the two weeks(?) and even got around the hospital quite well putting on a kind of acrobatic show for spectators. How come you all don't know about it? I know about it because my sister was involved but you think a hospital even in San Francisco wants it known they practice black arts and witchcraft like hypnotism? Get the picture, G. B., or do I need to scare up some kind of psychologist or maybe a psy war type like we had in our intelligence office in Vietnam. They can be counted on to make up something. Best, Terry |
