Re: Apples and Oranges " we are just blind and misled by the ADXS's managements?" Which one, Ubmmg? I bought stock in Great Expectations with a CEO that financed a small Phase I in Mexico, Serbia and Israel financed by the most notorious juice racketeer of the day in response to Dr. Yvonne Paterson's pleadings for anyone anywhere to test her invention with human clinical trials after decades of experimentation and neglect? The idea of infecting dying cancer patients with a deadly bacteria was not an attractive prospect to other biotechs and frankly that financing by Cornell [the vulture, not the university] was frightening to me. The rock-throwing continues through three CEO's and enormous success and even a nice stash of money and valuable sponsored research. Meanwhile thieving by a low-class liar has been richly rewarded? So what is new? Bill Gates, who has made enormous contributions to fighting disease and poverty in Africa, was asked once about why he has shielded his vast profits from taxes in America if he is such a fine fellow. The great philanthropist and ruthless monopolist who even stole from IBM and Apple replied, "That's business." About all there is to say about Aduro's theft that prevented patenting in Europe is: "That's business." That is not to say Aduro cannot be successful but I would rather bet on data rather than price. All JMO. Best, Terry |
