Re: brief takeaways from last wk's STB conf call It is of course good that they are getting ne contracts, but from reading nfi's report (I do no own either), it is clear that the problem is margins. Margins have been dropping significantly due to compeitition and tight UD municipal budgets. so the question is what kind of profit margin is stb getting on these new contracts - how low did they have to go to secure them?
