Re: Questions about the release of the FDA Decision
Sorry you got stopped out but here are the answers to your questions:
1. Is it possible an FDA decision delay could still be announced prior to the 6/27 date? Yes, a delay could come but likely not at this juncture. What would be more common is the FDA just missing the date completely, it happens.
2. Does anyone know if FDA delay announcements ALWAYS occur > 7 days ahead of the announcement? No, see answer above.
3. When a decision is released does the FDA post it on a public website or is the company notified and they issue a press release? Both. Generally they will notify the company via a fax and the company will issue a PR shortly there after. They've made the mistake before of announcing in on their website even before the company issues a PR.
4. Can the decision announcement come during market hours or are they always after hours? It can come at any time. Even this afternoon. It will generally come during business hours East Coast time. Halting the stock is a NASDAQ decision but generally you will see a halt before the PR comes out.
