The baseline HbA1c for people in this study was 8.8.
There were only 130 people in this study.
The Bloom-DM had 614 people in the study. The baseline HbA1c was 8.0.
Christy Anderson mentioned in a CC about the Bloom-DM results that if the baseline were higher, she believed the HbA1c drop would have been greater.
The bottom line is that this is a apples and oranges comparison with different sample sizes and starting baselines for these studies. I think that leaves us with the results in the BD's, although again, the number of people in the subgroup studies were lower than Bloom-DM.
