Re: Down Nearly 90%, Linn Energy Is Still No Bargain
"If current energy-production trends persist" Are you crediting Kevin with a prediction of 40-50 $ oil based on his perception of increased shale production? Or how about Opec pumping flat out? Or China's growth slowing? Not sure that I'd give Kevin that much credit.Just reading what I have time for on RBN and EIA's website leads me to believe that the price of oil(consider both supply and demand variables) is almost impossible to predict period. There were just as many good reasons for oil to go up as down .I ignored Kevin's warning because it was largely based on an accounting issue which the SEC did an informal inquiry on (co-incidence?) and no formal inquiry followed. Also the lawsuit based on an accounting problem was dismissed by the court. I hear warnings all the time glad I have continued to ignore Joe Granville!
