Re: WMB and ETE - What's next
The WMB/WPZ merger does not happen automatically. There will be a shareholder vote. That is the venue where Kelcy (actually his CFO I believe) said he would seek to take things direct to WMB shareholders. The "deadline" is November when WMB is to pay the breakup fee if the deal is not done by then.
Until we get closer to November, I believe things will stay quiet unless negotiations break down. Interesting week next week with the ETE report. ETE's currency either gets stronger or weaker based on the results. At this point, only Kelcy knows what kind of hand he's holding.
